You Thoroughly Know An Eraser?

When we were children, we started using erasers to remove the wrong words and extra marks on paper. Now an eraser not only can remove the usual pencil marks but also typewriter marks and pen ink. Can you imagine that about 300 years ago humans began to use erasers? But the first erasers were not made of rubber but were pieces of bread. Although people in South America found rubber very early, knew how to use rubber to make cloth and balls, until the middle eighteenth century European saw rubber products. 

However, the widespread use of erasers still took a long time. Till 1858, someone designed a pencil with a groove on the top, into which an eraser was placed, finally ended the history of separation pencils and erasers. We give this creative product a name --- pencil-top eraser.

With the development of industrial technology and the improvement of living standards, the eraser has been more widely used. There are different shaped erasers on the market: cube eraser, oval shaped, triangular shaped, character erasers... They are divided into erasers for office use, rubber eraser for school, art erasers, drawing eraser, etc. 

For working person, erasers are always regular geometric shapes, rectangular is the most common among them. For kids and students, there are more choices in color and shape, such as mouse modeling, irregular geometric patterns, English alphabet, cute expressions... Of course, there are specialized erasers for artists --- gum erasers (also called art gum erasers) , they are much more softer and flexible than ordinary eraser,  they are ideal for erasing graphite on paper, you won't worry about tearing up your paper.
